What We Do
AG Care addresses some of Malawi’s most pressing challenges through the following thematic areas
Food and Nutrition Security
We support vulnerable households with agricultural training, inputs, and sustainable livelihood opportunities to reduce hunger and improve income.
Livelihoods and Resilience
We promote climate-smart agriculture and environmental conservation to build community resilience and protect Malawi’s natural resources.
Climate Change, Environment and Natural Resources Management
In times of disaster or crisis, we provide life-saving support including food relief, shelter, clean water, and long-term recovery services.
Humanitarian Response and Recovery
We improve community health through WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), malaria prevention and public health education in partnership with government and NGOs.
Health
We equip individuals, especially women and youth, with skills, financial literacy, and small enterprise support to break the cycle of poverty.
Economic Empowerment
We promote transparency, community participation, and accountability in local governance to ensure citizens have a voice in development.
Governance
We improve community health through WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), malaria prevention, and public health education in partnership with government and NGOs.

Our Impact
With support from global partners such as Tearfund UK, USAID, the Scottish Government, and others, AG Care has successfully implemented over 30 large-scale projects in health, water and sanitation, disaster preparedness, climate justice, and more — touching lives in Kasungu, Dowa, Mchinji, Nkhotakota, Salima, Mangochi, and beyond.
